Welcome to Dorset Pictures

Dorset Pictures has been created by Roger Holman and Roger Lane, two Dorset-based photographers who have been working together for many years.

In 1991, together with local writer Roger Guttridge, they were commissioned to produce their first book "The Landscapes of Dorset", followed in 1993 by "The Villages of Dorset".

Roger Holman has produced further books: "The Landscapes of West Sussex", "Images Of The Dorset Coast", "Images Of Dorset Country", "Wimborne Minster - A Portrait In Colour", and "Dorset's Most Beautiful Buildings". His latest book *Dorset - The Glorious County" is featured in a new Gallery.

Roger Lane has combined his talents of writing and photography. His work has been featured in numerous national magazines. Apart from photographing his home county of Dorset, Roger specialises in UK and European landscapes and particularly the landscapes of the French Impressionists.
