Landscapes of Dorset
In this gallery are a few old favourites and some new images taken on my recent travels throughout the county.
Elements of my photography are changing as I broaden my horizons and focus on more natural subjects and introduce abstracts in addition to the varied landscapes Dorset has to offer.
For some years I was commissioned by Canford School near Wimborne to photograph their magnificent grounds throughout the seasons. A small selection of my work is displayed here.
During 2008 and 2009 the emphasis of my photography at Canford was directed towards a new challenge - photographing the trees of Canford's arboretum. This was indeed a very refreshing challenge and one which I enjoyed tremendously. The resulting images were used for the school's 2010 calender and have featured on a number of brochures.
The history and importance of the arboretum has been featured in my book The Gardens of Dorset published by Frances Lincoln in April 2010
