Jenny Trehane started growing blueberries in 1959 when she received a telegram from her father who was in America '1000 blueberry plants arriving Southampton Docks Dec 8th'. Blueberries were not known in the country before and of course they have never looked back. She is also one of the world's experts on Camellias, having written books and lectures widely on the subject.
