Cranborne Chase

Cranborne Chase today covers a large area of Dorset and Wiltshire and covered an even larger area in the days of King John when it was highly forested and used as his favourite hunting ground. The Horton Inn was an old coaching inn just visible standing on the crossroads and has served travellers for many generations.
