Alan Blundell - Bee Keeper - July 2001
There are 10,000 active bees in a hive. The Queen lays around 2000 eggs a day and a bee will leave the hive around 300 times a day. Alan will tell you that if you have a hive in your garden you will get a much heavier crop of vegetables and also a much better show of flowers.
